Shaah — Dragon’s Pitchfork— is a multi-passionate “Marylander” from Colorado.  His primary mediums are video and music. He is currently focused on the art of storytelling through documentaries and he’s documenting the journey on Patreon.

As Dragon’s Pitchfork, Shaah is also the founder of GRYSKLL, an interstate Hip Hop collective and podcast publication. He founded GRYSKLL through “House of Fluid Reflections” (HFR) with artistic support from his wife, Yani. Shaah produces video podcasts for both entities along with visualizers and music videos for GRYSKLL.

Shaah spent 20 years working in tech as a Systems Engineer & consultant before a mental health battle forced him to reevaluate his life’s path. He experienced the healing power of art as he made music and began learning other mediums such as photography and videography. “My experience inspired a mission to improve mental health awareness, communication, education, and resources,” explains the artist, “especially in marginalized communities.”  While working this mission, he met his wife and the members of GRYSKLL.

In the 90s, Dragon’s Pitchfork was a producer and lyricist for DC based  Wu-Tang Clan affiliates, “Tha Beggas” (mispelled as “The Beggaz” on the gold selling album ”RZA Presents Wu-Tang Killa Bees – The Swarm (Volume 1)”. As part of a large music collective, he learned the value of principles such as communication, coordination and trust.  These lessons and his technical expertise have helped Shaah provide support for other creators and founders since the 90s. Creative, technical, administrative, financial, logistical, communal and other forms of support. He looks forward to creating more connections and opportunities for other artists in the spirit of the late Clarence Avant.

Thanks for taking the time to read “the official”. It’s always such a challenge to write these things. :-)
