2022 is my 25th anniversary.  I googled it and it’s called a “quadranscentennial anniversary”.  I’m dropping a double feature to celebrate & I’m thinking about minting both songs! 

The first single is @gryskll’s "The DAO Tone" ft. @DragonsPitch4rk & @theblkmvrks.  The song features my 1st properly mixed verse to be released in 25 years.  The last time, the verse made it to a wax 12” & cassettes. 

That mystery single got a little local radio play.   I believe I heard Death Row Records stole the publishing rights.  . I think I even said the rhyme on University of MD radio back then with Peter Rosenberg.  I’m thinking of selling the only copy of the 12” & cassette I own as part of a physical NFT.

I’m late uploading The DAO Tone in order for it to make it to all streaming services by 12/12/22.  I should have been promoting it much more before now too.  I’ve been hesitant for a number of reasons I may discuss on the video socials. 

Gotta thank Sheed aka 1 to Dial for the beat. It meanS a lot.  This song helped me start finding my way to a mic every once in a while again after my everlasting battle with Imposter's Syndrome had gotten to its worst.  Dropping The DAO Tone is a pivotal moment of my reboot / re-code process. 

The 2nd part of this double feature drop hits on 12/22/22.  I won’t say much about this one on here yet other than dropping a fun fact that rattles around in my skull.  I somehow ended up running with this 1's & 2’s theme this year.  If you recall, I minted Pitchfork Pieces on 10/22/22.  20 years and 20 days after the DC Sniper onslaught started, which ties into the 1st NFT from my 1st (genesis) digital collectible project, “Tai Chi Arithmetic”.  This year also marks the 1st time I released a vocal that was mixed to my satisfaction on my own.  It's also the first time my voice was scratched by a DJ (that I can recall).
